VR Art Gallery

I wanted to display the procedural artworks I’d created in Blender in a gallery space. Hence, I downloaded a museum scene from Epic, adapted the textures, layout & lighting to produce the final scene in view.

Within the scene, I then played an original track I wrote; I could then move my hands to the dynamics of the music.

Animated Textures

In this example, I baked each frame of an animated texture in Blender, then used a media player to play the texture frames back in Unreal Engine.

In the future, I plan to create this natively in Unreal, or live stream textures from TouchDesigner, so materials can respond to VR motion controllers in real time.

Metahumans

I’ve been creating Metahumans to populate the gallery. This is one I tried to make look like myself to test the software.
